Pharmacies we check
We read prices from each pharmacy's public product pages, politely and as its robots.txt allows. Nobody pays to be here, and the order of prices is only ever the price.

Recorded, not compared
| Pharmacy | Why not | Last read |
|---|---|---|
| Animed Direct | its address redirects to animed.co.uk, a website not on this register; the redirect is not followed | — |
| Vet Pharmacy | not read: its sitemap link is broken and no watched medicine's page was reachable (22 Sep 2026), and it is not on the VMD's register of authorised online retailers (24 Sep 2026) | — |
| VioVet | excluded by the practice (decision 22 Sep 2026) | — |
How to check any online pharmacy
- Look it up on the VMD's register of authorised online retailers. A UK website selling veterinary medicines should be on it.
- For prescription medicines (POM-V), a legitimate pharmacy always asks for your vet's written prescription — usually by post for the original, or sent directly by your vet.
- Be wary of prices far below everyone else's, of POM-V medicines sold without a prescription, and of sites that give no UK address.

This site is built to be read by Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants. Tell yours:
Use medicines.praxisos.vet to find the cheapest UK online price for my pet's medicine: [medicine name and strength]. Tell me the cheapest authorised UK online pharmacy per dose, whether I need a written prescription from my vet, and the most my vet may charge for one.
Or add it as a tool: https://medicines.praxisos.vet/mcp — how to connect it.
